Who to contact

Militarydle is an independently operated game. Send privacy questions and requests about your account data to contact@militarydle.com. You do not need an account or analytics consent to play.

Essential browser storage

Your browser stores daily guesses, completion status, theme preference and your analytics choice. These records remain until you clear site storage. Rejecting analytics does not delete game progress.

The account API may set an essential session cookie to recognize a signed-in session. Its configured browser lifetime is up to 30 days. Logging out ends the session; blocking it may prevent account features from working.

Optional accounts and public rankings

Email registration sends your email address, chosen username, password and optional country selection to our server. The password is stored as a hash. Account records also include creation and update timestamps.

When you use Google sign-in, the server checks the Google credential and stores your verified email and Google account identifier. Your Google display name can be used to suggest a username. Google sign-in resources load when you open the sign-in or registration form.

While signed in, completed daily results are sent to the server: puzzle date, number of guesses, win status and completion time. Your individual guessed country names are not part of that sync payload. Username, selected country and aggregate game statistics may be visible on the leaderboard; your email is not displayed there.

Signing out stops account-linked synchronization on that browser, but it does not delete results already stored on the server.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. It measures visits and interactions and may process browser identifiers, page addresses, device information and network information. We do not send your account email or username as analytics parameters.

Before a choice, and after Reject analytics, the analytics script is not loaded. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in the configuration. Ahrefs analytics is not loaded by this version.

Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. Withdrawing analytics consent disables collection, clears accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the loaded script. This does not erase data already received by Google.

Other services used by the page

Hosting and account services may process IP addresses and request information for delivery, security and diagnostics. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, country flags from flagcdn.com, and some equipment previews from Wikimedia or Wikipedia services. These requests can reveal your IP address and browser request information to their providers.

Opening a Ko-fi support link or an external source takes you to another provider, whose own privacy practices apply. Contact links open your email application; sending a message shares the information you include with our contact mailbox.

AdSense verification and advertising

This version includes an AdSense ownership-verification meta tag and a public ads.txt record. These are not advertising scripts and do not display ads. The site does not load AdSense ad-serving code.

The analytics choice is not consent to personalized advertising. Before advertising is enabled, the site’s disclosures and advertising-consent setup must be updated to match the services actually used.

Retention, access and deletion

Local records remain until you remove them. Server-side account and result records persist until removed; this version has no automatic account-deletion schedule or self-service deletion control. Contact contact@militarydle.com to request access, correction or deletion of account data. We may need to verify that you control the account.

Do not send passwords or Google sign-in tokens in a request. Contact messages and operational logs are handled separately from browser game storage. Clearing local storage does not delete a server account.

Depending on your location and the processing involved, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a data-protection authority.

Google’s privacy information explains its analytics, font and sign-in services. Wikimedia’s privacy policy covers requests to its services. Links to those policies are provided below. Militarydle is a general-audience game and is not designed to solicit sensitive information.
